About Me

Rebecca L. Brown (25) is a British writer currently based in Cardiff, South Wales where she lives with her partner and assorted menagerie. She has recently returned to writing medium-length, short and flash fiction pieces (including micro-fiction), after a short break which felt considerably longer than it was. Rebecca specialises in horror, SF, humour, surreal and experimental fiction, although her writing often wanders off into other genres and gets horribly lost. More updates and examples of Rebecca’s work can be found on her Twitter page @rlbrownwriter

More About Rebecca

Rebecca L. Brown (08/05/85) was born in Grimsby, North-East Lincolnshire. She was a student at first South Parade Junior School and then Caistor Grammar School where her writing was encouraged by a series of supportive teachers.

In 2003, Rebecca travelled to Cardiff where she earned a first-class bachelors degree in Archaeology. She has worked as part of archaeological fieldwork teams in South Uist, Outer Hebrides and Llanmaes, South Wales.

Rebecca recently took a short break from writing to focus on the running of her household management company. Now, she feels she is once again able to devote time to her writing and photography.

Rebecca lives with her partner of seven years, cat (Muta) and toads (Steak and Kidney). In her spare time, she enjoys weightlifting, knitting and burlesque performances; she can regularly be found in the audience of Cardiff's own What The Butler Saw burlesque performances.
